Our mind, movement and mobility is a program designed to help you stay functional, mobile and relaxed.. Lead by our team of Exercise Physiologists, this program combines a combination of strength, mobility, balance, and mindfulness exercise modalities to help both your body and mind stay mobile and functional.
The unique aspect of this class is the integration of stick mobility. Stick Mobility is a training system that improves your flexibility, strength, and coordination. The system combines joint mobilization, strength training, and active stretching to reduce risk of injury, and accelerate recovery. The sticks are used as tools to improve range of motion, muscle activation, coordination, and body awareness to build a strong foundation for better movement.
Inclusions: Weekly group session which allows clients access to further guidance, support and helps facilitate long term positive behavioural change for health management.
Participant suitability: Chronic conditions, injury, or illness; balance issues, individuals looking to increase physical activity, functional capacity, mobility, and mental health.
